Kalpana Patel

Over the course of two decades of working in Wall Street Trading Room Technology and then in the Information Technology Industry, Kalpana has "hands on" experience in virtually every aspect of the business, including sales, marketing, finance and operations. Because of her extensive background working for large corporate firms in New York, she has carried over the business performance standards and compliance processes to UCI. She has managed to build UCI in to one of the most successful "Minority Woman Owned Small businesses" in the Tri-state area, providing Technology Solutions and Services to an impressive number of agencies within the public sector as well as several corporate 100 companies. Kalpana has received Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg's "NYC Small Business Award of Distinction" as well as being named one of "Top Owned 50 Asian Minority Businesses" in New York and has been distinguished as one of the top entrepreneurs in the country by Diversity Business. Kalpana serves on boards of many M/WBE and nonprofit organizations. Kalpana graduated with MBA degree from Adelphi University, Garden City, NY.

Gary Rado

Gary is an accomplished senior level information technology executive with more than 25 years of experience in executive management, and technology consulting in defining, designing and implementing innovative enterprise information and business solution architectures across in the corporate and public sector. Prior to UCI Gary worked with Fortune 100 Wall Street firms as CTO directing and supporting their mainframes and trading desk systems. As a ‘C’ level executive, Gary is directly responsible for developing all operational policies, procedures, strategic planning and marketing efforts of UCI. Gary believes in consistently improving delivery times, and service levels while reducing costs. He excels at strategic planning, building high performance teams, project & portfolio management and implementing best leading practices methodologies. His extensive experience encompasses telecommunication, cloud and SOA solutions, global project management (PMO), network design and engineering, strategic planning, business continuity planning and building and leading various teams on large-scale projects within sensitive time and budget guidelines to satisfy business and technology requirements.

CTO/ Governance Lead

Gautam Tooley

Gautam  has over 24 years of experience managing large, diverse information technology projects which include application development, transformation, modernization and design, data standards, systems design and implementation, human resource and financial management systems, and network design, implementation, and support. He has managed multiple information technology engagements with New York City, New York State and federal customers, such as NYC DOHMH, US Peace Corps, NYC DDC,  US Army, NYC DDC, NYC OCME, NYC ACS, NYC DoITT, Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Long Island Power Authority, New York Power Authority, U.S. Peace Corp, and NYC HHC. Gautam leads health and UCI  public sector practice and is responsible for delivering UCI’s Public Service across Sate, Local and Federal engagements. Over his career, Gautam has led the delivery of several  large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives including leading DOITT COVID- 19 initiatives for City and State of New York,  His experience includes number of operational improvement programs in private and public sector organizations. Gautam brings extensive experience in leading systems implementation projects through the full lifecycle, from design, build, deployment, testing t and ongoing operations. Gautam’s experience covers both custom, packaged-software system and cloud implementations, with a focus on Health and Human Services, Utility and Transportation. Mr. Tooley currently leads System Integration Practice for Unique Comp Inc with focus on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Process Automation.

Matthew Smith

Matt is an experienced Data Architect with over 12 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering and project management. He has managed multiple information technology engagements with New York City and other clients. Matt leads our data analytics practices and collaborates with our public and private sector engagements . Over his career, Matt has led the delivery of several reporting and automation transformation initiatives including DOITT COVID-19 initiatives for the City of New York and Virginia Department of Transportation, Matt has a passion for exploring data, illuminating insights and providing quick, scalable low-code/no-code solutions to help clients meet just-in-time needs as well transform business processes.

Chandan Chandwani

Chandan is a Business Head -Solutions practice with over 20+ years of experience spanning all areas of IT Strategy and Delivery execution covering major industry vertical. Currently Focused on Public Sector – (State and Local) large digital transformations including CX, Enterprise Asset Management, Community Development and Regulatory Management - Licensing, Permitting and Enforcement Management, Case Management and Vendor Experience solutions. Planned and managed multi-million-dollar IT projects from conception to close, aligning business objectives with technology solution. Known for ability to produce high-quality deliverables which meet timelines and budgetary targets in Waterfall and Hybrid project management methodologies. Led IT Project Management Practice covering implementations including Cloud based and On-Premises solutions. Paul Capel

Paul brings a wealth of experience in Information Technology management. He has served as CTO of two companies, one a software vendor, and the other a large eCommerce vendor. He has provided virtual CTO services for more than a dozen private sector companies as a consultant. Paul's background begins with computer operations roles in banking, and then moves to multi-platform development roles across various industries. His current area of focus sits with cloud based technologies, especially with the Microsoft stack and all things Office 365 and Azure. Paul's years of management experience coupled with his hands on expertise in design, development, and implementation in both software and infrastructure position him perfectly to manage large and diverse projects. During his time with UCI, Paul has contributed to projects with multiple New York City and New York State clients, including NYSERDA, LIPA, NYC OCME, NYC DoITT, and NYC ACS. His unique ability to understand the business requirements of his clients and match them to appropriate technology solutions is an asset to any project of any size.

Hardik Bhilota

Hardik is a Cloud Architect at UCI having more than 17 years of experience in various Microsoft technology stacks. Hardik has been designing and developing cloud-based applications (IAAS and PAAS) from last 8 years for UCI’s fortune 100 client. Hardik was a team lead to build automation on private datacenters and IAAS services in Azure. In earlier stage of his career, he worked with SharePoint 2016/13/10 on-premises administration, Development designing and managing various site collections/contents with complex forms, applications.  With continuous exposure to business users and understanding their requirement, Hardik has developed exclusive skills to develop applications from scratch and bring them to the full stack execution phase.

Diana Tacuri

Diana Tacuri is a dynamic personality who can balance both sides of the coin when it comes to recruiting talent. She manages a team of recruiters at UCI and always finds exceptional IT talents to lead IT projects. Her expertise to find hard to find talents is so exceptional that she stands out in the it recruiting world. She has started her career with UCI 14 years ago and her experience and intellect to understand complexity of any government contract compliance and reporting requirements is unparallel. Meeta Walia

Meeta serves as UCI’s Human Resources Team Lead with over twenty years of professional experience in technical augmentation, performance management and talent acquisition at UCI. Her key strengths include requirements analysis, staff planning and design, hands-on tactical recruitment and management advisory supporting New York City and State agencies. Meeta manages our diverse technical resources and their performances at the client sites. Some of her strongest assets are in Administration, Human Resources and Customer relations with a definite keen eye for detail exceptional problem solving and interpersonal skills. As CFO, Akash Chauhan is responsible for the overall financial management and reporting to maintain financial stability of the company. Akash manages day-to-day financial activities including Payroll, taxes, insurances, managing banking relations and negotiation and execution of all customer and vendor contracts. Akash graduated from Drexel with Bachelor Degree in Entrepreneurship with focus on finance.

Hiring
